Black Mountain Forestry
Center offers High Country Forestry Tours during the summer months.
These are a rare opportunity to go into the woods with an experienced
forester to find out about how forests grow and how they are managed.
Many people who have taken the tour come away with a new understanding
and respect for all that forests offer our society. You'll get an
opportunity to see the forest in various stages of growth and learn
a little history about how timber management works.
