High Country Mountain Tours
High Country Mountain Tours is two to three hours, offered by BMFC and is designed to offer a trip up Black Mountain. This tour includes an oral history of logging as well as a chance to view different stages of timber growth, natural wildlife, forest ecology and a logging site demonstrating new sensitive management techniques. On a clear day, you can see the whole county and into Canada, with breath taking views. The information you will gather on these tours will last a life time, and offer a new perspective on what happens in the woods. Don't forget your camera!
To book this tour, it is by appointment only. Tours cost $75 per person or by donation/group rates available.
